Profile details and contact information are shared only with specific counterparts you choose to engage with, or handled as needed for service operations, risk review, and legal requirements under our Privacy Policy. By default, they are not exposed to the open internet or broadcast to all platform users. In addition: your personal information, company information, match history, and user relationships are not used to train ChemAbout or third-party general AI models.
As a supplier: Sign up → complete your company profile → list products on the Chemical Management page. Once listed, the platform sends you matching purchase requests, so you can initiate contact with buyers. As a buyer: No account is needed — post a request straight from the homepage with just the product details and your email address. It takes about two minutes, and your contact details stay private by default. After you post, ChemAbout emails you a private management link and notifies matching suppliers, who can then initiate contact with you. A free account is optional; it adds saved requests, a workspace for managing matches, and posting from the Purchase Requests page.
Yes, at any time. The private management link emailed to you when you post lets you unlist the request from the public demand board (private matching can stay active), relist it later, extend it after it expires, or delete it entirely. Account holders manage the same actions from the Purchase Requests page.
Matching suppliers are notified privately. If the request is shown on the public demand board, it appears anonymized: chemical identity, volume range, destination market, and posting date — never your name, company, or contact details. Contact information is exchanged only after both sides confirm interest.
